MAMA ADOKUWA /MAMA AWUSI SCHOLARSHIP

WHY:

• Mama Adokuwa and Mama Awusi decided to start a scholarship program so that no child would be left behind.

• “It takes a whole village to raise our children in the spirit of African love!”

HOW:

• Local community authorities, opinion leaders, and school heads from selected villages are contacted to announce the scholarship. Interested applicants are interviewed and assessed to ensure they meet the criteria—namely, that they genuinely need the scholarship and are committed to learning.

• This scholarship campaign is designed to make it easier for sponsors to pledge their support, helping to achieve the goal of ensuring that no child is left behind.

• Sponsors will have the opportunity to choose the type and duration of the scholarship they wish to pledge. Each sponsor will receive a biography and photo of the child they are supporting, along with a performance report sent every trimester.
